My name is Adam Skylark, born Adam Graham but I don't really like having two first names so I've come to be known as Adam Skylark by many for a couple of years.
I'm a 22 year old UK based poker player. I'm generally always thinking about poker whether I'm at world, at the cinema, with friends and family etc etc. It has kind of taken over my life since I first jumped into this world almost a year ago now. I have a girlfriend of almost 2 years who is generally very understanding about my love of poker and likes to play a bit as well.

I began as many seem to, by watching it on TV. I was out of work and didn't need to sleep early so I'd often channel flick and I happened to catch partypoker events, WSOP and other programmes. I eventually gained a basic understanding of the game and decided to try out online poker and swiftly downloaded partypoker. Like most I sucked for a while. I'd watched the pros and tried to emulate it without knowing the reasoning behind their play and just assuming that was the natural thing that happened. Months later I'd been in a few different online sites and my game has improved rapidly.

I'm not just online either, I play a weekly league game in my town and that's really helped my understanding of the game and the live game is far more social and exciting in my opinion.

I also love music. I'm very much into a lot of rock/punk/indie/metal kind of stuff ad you will often find my traveling around the UK to various gigs and hopefully trying to play a poker game or two on my travels.
